Interim post on Free Kindle books for Tuesday (93) UPDATED (w/ 18 later ones)

The Nook Tablet and Kindle Fire article is fairly complicated but there's a lot of interesting information on all sides, and I'm still working on it, but in the meantime, 75 newly-free Kindle titles were just released and posted to the Kindle forums, so I'm posting this first.

FREE/DISCOUNTED KINDLE BOOKS DISCOVERED BY FORUM MEMBERS

Nov. 8: - Tuesday: - 93 newly-free books

Surrender to Kindness: One Man's Epic Journey for Love and Peace, by Joseph David Osman, 18 customer reviews, 4.9 stars $0.99 (Link: amzn.to/surrender-to-kindness)

I'm keeping this one for Tuesday also because it was posted late on Monday.

The digital 'list' price is obviously a mistake! although it's not even as funny as the price it's sold for under the 'paperback' version if you click on that.

From the product description: ""...Over a six-year period, [Joseph David] Osman listened intently to prisoners, village elders and men and teens, former Taliban soldiers and sympathizers, and academics and military and civilian leaders. In all his conversations with the people of Afghanistan, a pattern emerged: they wanted peace, freedom and liberty. And they were willing to fight for those universal rights."
Of course not everyone responds well to kindness, but listening is generally a pretty good idea.  The book has 145 b/w photographs also.

Kindle Daily Deal (Often U.S. only, unfortunately)
(The Daily Deal link above changes at MIDNIGHT each day.
Click it to see what the daily deal book is, at any time.)

Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, by John Perkins, 799 customer reviews, 3.5 stars (Link: amzn.to/confessions-economic-hit-man)
Daily Deal until the end of Tuesday, 11/8:
      Monday's Price: $8.10
      Tuesday's Discount: $6.11
      Tuesday's Daily Deal Price: $1.99 (75% off)

Publishers Weekly found this highly implausible and paranoid, but Amazon editors found it intriguing, and Library Journal wrote "This riveting look at a world of intrigue reads like a spy novel . . . Highly recommended" while The Rocky Mountain News says "[A] gripping tell-all book."

NOTE: TO AVOID SPAM being posted instantly, this blog uses the blogger.com "DELAY" feature.

Am often away much of the day, and postings won't show up right away. Posts done to use referrer-links may never show up.

Usually, am online enough to release comments within a day though, so the hard-to-read match-text tests for commenting won't be needed this way.

Feedback and questions are welcome. Thanks for participating.

Technical Problems?
If you're having problems leaving a Comment, Google's blogger-help asks that you clear the 'blogger.com' cookies on your browser's Tools or Options menu bar and that will fix the Comment-box problems (until they have a permanent fix).

IF that doesn't work either, then UNcheck the "keep me signed in" box -- Google-help says that should allow your comment to post (it's a workaround to a current bug).
Apologies for the problems.

TIP: There's a size limit. If longer than 3500 characters or so, in a text editor, make two posts out of it.
