Quick Note until later today

Apologies to subscribers. Could not be here for the blog due to several sudden projects that took too much time, but I did get to explore some things and will report on them later today and get caught up on the free book-logging.

Thanks for understanding and taking the time to write. Much appreciated. Will make up for this lull.

  3. Yes, the quality of your information builds a certain dependency (addiction?). No chance for a generator, huh? :) Spoken from the east with snow experience!
One question, though, how do you prevent children from stumbling into inappropriate content? All I can think of is to de-register the device and insist on one-on-one shopping.

  4. Anonymous,
Apologies for the delay in getting back (and everything else). I which there were an answer to the question about keeping your children from stumbling into inappropriate content, but there's nothing offered by Amazon for that.

I mentioned in an earlier entry in the same week a new free parental control app, but it's pretty severe! Web area can be locked up. But then why would any child even want a tablet?

NOTE: TO AVOID SPAM being posted instantly, this blog uses the blogger.com "DELAY" feature.

Am often away much of the day, and postings won't show up right away. Posts done to use referrer-links may never show up.

Usually, am online enough to release comments within a day though, so the hard-to-read match-text tests for commenting won't be needed this way.

Feedback and questions are welcome. Thanks for participating.

Technical Problems?
If you're having problems leaving a Comment, Google's blogger-help asks that you clear the 'blogger.com' cookies on your browser's Tools or Options menu bar and that will fix the Comment-box problems (until they have a permanent fix).

IF that doesn't work either, then UNcheck the "keep me signed in" box -- Google-help says that should allow your comment to post (it's a workaround to a current bug).
Apologies for the problems.

TIP: There's a size limit. If longer than 3500 characters or so, in a text editor, make two posts out of it.
