On the 2nd page of Paperwhite covers, there's a Verso Prologue with a pocket, but it's not like the ones with slots for credit cards. But you'll need to click on each one of the images on the many page to see the inside of each covers, unfortunately.

Hope you find something good. A cover shutting off the light is not taking it out of sleep mode - it's still in sleep mode, so you should be fine. The light turns itself off after awhile anyway. And the image is still there. There ARE covers that don't instantly cause sleep mode upon closing if it wasn't already in sleep mode, but they're not popular.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05109282436243758435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-872447660964013545.post-38525498366664571342014-03-24T11:21:58.643-07:002014-03-24T11:21:58.643-07:00A question about autosleep: I put my paperwhite in...A question about autosleep: I put my paperwhite in screen saver mode or the battery life is too short. I liked how it secured the Paperwhite and also the cover's texture much better.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-872447660964013545.post-63969342077227280072013-01-26T14:12:09.917-08:002013-01-26T14:12:09.917-08:00Tom, I thought they had fixed that with some disc-...Tom, I thought they had fixed that with some disc-like thing they insert.

They didn't offer to replace it? I guess you just returned it w/o saying anything. That one had enough positive comments for a mention in highly-rated very-low-cost covers that I mentioned it although I bought the RooCase for $15 and really like it. It's thinner, lighter than avg and it's very easy to take the Kindle out.

I'm not afraid of breakage but am worried about scratching (when it's in my purse, which is 'always' when I'm out).

Thanks for letting us know that they are still sending out covers without adequate shut-off. You should let them know (post a review at Amazon too?).

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05109282436243758435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-872447660964013545.post-28416151623208246502013-01-26T13:05:59.468-08:002013-01-26T13:05:59.468-08:00I bought the Moko $5.99 case and really didn't...I bought the Moko $5.99 case and really didn't like it at all, and returned it. The wake/sleep feature is poorly implemented, and doesn't always put it to sleep, the alignment has to be perfect. I think it would be constantly waking and sleeping if it were rattling around in a cargo pocket or purse. I've no doubt it provides a lot of protection from damage, but it is pretty bulky as well, and I think it makes PW less pleasant to hold, and it is not so easy to slip it off and on.

I'm not sure I'll even try another cover. The screen feels sufficiently scratch resistant to go without.

There are tons of options on eBay, including some that strongly resemble Amazon's covers.
