Since they delayed this so long, I wonder how Kindle sales will be relative to what it might have been if they'd released this along with the hardcover book, since a lot of reviews are available. Below are ways to Share this post if you'd like others to see it.

Sadly had this book been available at the same time as the hardcover launched I would have purchased it instead of something else (can't remember which title I bought back then). But to make matters worse (for Stephen and the publisher) I found a pdf of the book via bittorrent and used Calibre to convert it for my Kindle.
ReplyDeleteYou would think book publishers would have learned a lesson that the RIAA and MPAA are learning the hardway. Make digital content readily available at a reasonable price (think iTunes or Amazon MP3 sales)and many (most?) people will take the legitamate route to get it.
Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteI realize you can't report your experience directly to Amazon's customer service, but maybe they'll read notes like this in various forums and take note of it. (The publishers, that is, maybe with the help of Amazon staff.)
Thanks.
When will this be available to Australian readers?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous in Aug 2010,
ReplyDeleteI've no idea. You could email athe publisher to get an idea though.
