It just maximizes their size.<br /><br /> The NookColor doesn't let you do anything at all to/with an image in a book. The small ones are all you get. <br /><br /> With magazines, you can pinch-zoom beautifully and with the web, you can double tap to maximize or use the '+' icon to scale up a little at a time.<br /><br /> But with a book? Nothing.
