I am starting to get frustrated with Amazon's apparent indifference to indiscriminately mixing extremely short works with normal length books.
ReplyDeleteThis has only begun in the last couple of weeks or so.
It's not the end of the world if it costs $0.99 for a story out of a magazine of ten such stories and available for $5, but it's so onerous to find and filter reading material in the first place that sitting down to read something that unexpectedly only lasts 15 minutes is annoying,

What's odd is they didn't approve it as an Amazon Single!
ReplyDeleteI did expect it to be longer, which is why I updated the blog.
Some people found the content worthwhile anyway but I do feel Fortune should have added more to it if it were to be among the 'books' although I think they presented it as a Single but that approval didn't take place. Odd.
In new free books, which I will do more of but only the ones of interest to me as they're listed by everyone these days, I have been avoiding the 'chapters' or short-stories as they can be found via my other links.
