Kindleworld is now on Facebook.
Caution: There is a catchy "Kindle.World" page on Facebook with a golfball 'world' icon, made October 2012 mainly to display and provide direct links to product pages for Kindle devices + some official Amazon videos.
The golfball-world site is not related to the "A Kindle World" blog, nor to Twitter's "kindleworld" ID (which has info tweeted by this blogger).
The direct Facebook web-address connected with the

Purpose
That area will hold some of the blog alerts while mainly making more easily available the reference articles written with answers to common questions about the various Kindle models and their functioning and to make these articles more easily findable by an audience that hasn't come across the blog.
Am hoping you'll find the Facebook page useful. If you do enjoy either this blog or the Facebook page it'll help the Facebook site (and this blog) if you decide to click on "Like" which will support it so that it's more easily found. Thanks for the help.
Let me know what else you'd like to see there.
My next guide will be on doing web Gmail on any Kindle Fire in a way that makes that more readable (depending on which web browser you're using) and easier to do. It'll include a portion on doing this on an e-Ink Kindle as well, though that's a considerably slower experience. While there are gmail Android apps, a lot is lost on the larger tablets (vs phones) when using an app, and it helps some of us to see more on the page while having the text very readable.
Below are ways to Share this post if you'd like others to see it.
-- The Send to Kindle button works well only on Firefox currently.
(Older posts have older Kindle model info. For latest models, see CURRENT KINDLES page. )

NOTE: TO AVOID SPAM being posted instantly, this blog uses the blogger.com "DELAY" feature.
Am often away much of the day, and postings won't show up right away. Posts done to use referrer-links may never show up.
Usually, am online enough to release comments within a day though, so the hard-to-read match-text tests for commenting won't be needed this way.
Feedback and questions are welcome. Thanks for participating.
Technical Problems?
If you're having problems leaving a Comment, Google's blogger-help asks that you clear the 'blogger.com' cookies on your browser's Tools or Options menu bar and that will fix the Comment-box problems (until they have a permanent fix).
IF that doesn't work either, then UNcheck the "keep me signed in" box -- Google-help says that should allow your comment to post (it's a workaround to a current bug).
Apologies for the problems.
TIP: There's a size limit. If longer than 3500 characters or so, in a text editor, make two posts out of it.
